Best at III International Women’s Tennis Tournament WTA St. Petersburg Ladies Trophy in St.

As part of the loyalty program of Almaly holding, the best employees attended the III International Women’s Tennis Tournament WTA St. Petersburg Ladies Trophy in St. Petersburg, which started on January 29 at the courts of the concert and sports complex Sibur Arena.

This year the tournament gathered on the banks of the Neva River the most presentable participants in the history of Russian tennis competitions. They are the leaders of WTA and Russian tennis, including the World No. 1 in tennis Simon Halep, the players of the top ten of the world rating: Caroline Wozniacki, Jeļena Ostapenko, Caroline Garcia and many other famous athletes from 13 countries.

The Russian Federation was represented by such leading tennis players as Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, Vera Zvonareva, Daria Kasatkina, Olympic doubles champions Ekaterina Makarova and Elena Vesnina and other participants.

In addition, the tournament hosted the traditional Match of tennis legends, in which Russian famous tennis players Vera Dementieva and Anastasia Myskina contended with the stars of world tennis Martina Hingis and Kim Clijsters.

According to www.mrsport.ria.ru, the singles winner was the Kristina Mladenovic from France, who defeated the representative of Kazakhstan Julia Putintseva in the final, 6: 2, 6: 7 (3: 7), 6: 4.

In the doubles, Latvian Jeļena Ostapenko and Polish Alicja Rosolska defeated Croatian Darija Jurak and Swiss Xenia Knoll with a score – 3: 6, 6: 2, 10: 5.
